It's looking like there are some things to be done individually, and some pages need contributions from both of us.
Individually we need:
At least 2 web pages that need one or two new ideas as well as a new item such as another lesson plan, podcast, or digital story, and 3 additional websites. Also we need to post everything we've done thus far.
First we just need to come up with a structure for the pages for the site.
For example:
Description of the project itself, what is project-based learning.
Concept map featuring all of the ideas for our project.
Informational tools for students: Digital stories, podcast, ePals w/ googlemap
Lesson Plans: both 1&2 lesson plans and any additional lesson plans.
References: websites and collaborative blog.
maybe that could work as a rough outline... I don't know if I included everything it's a long list on the module of things we need. Take a look, let me know your input.

ReplyDeleteWow it is looking like a lot has to be put on here.. looks like a bout 1/2 or so is stuff we have already done.. that is good.. I went a head and built us a google site and gmail for the group here is the info..

then the name of the google site is:

so you just have to go to google sites and then put in the google ID & Password and it will bring it up..
Also i choose the pre-loaded gardening background colors. im not real sure how to work it i was watching some of the directions, but have to head to work.. I figured this way we could start getting things uploaded.. feel free to change anything and i will talk to you soon.
I was just going over the assingment again. We also need to ask the instructor about the 3rd inspiration download. considering there is only 2 of us and we both have downloaded it. I think mine is still valid so I can still go in and change things. Im not sure how much time i have left maybe a week or so.. If you want to review the map and let me know how you feel about adding or removing any context in the next couple days, i can get on and tweak it and get it ready for final submission.. I will do the same... That way we can get it uploaded soon. This final project looks like it is going to be alot of work..
ReplyDeleteI am not even sure where to start with this project. I have never built a website. It seams like there is a lot of stuff that we have done that goes in plus a lot to do.. and then in an appropriate order and place.. I know im repeating myself here but feeling really overwhelmed by this one. and it is a huge project. im not sure if we can upload stuff and then change and move it around or how it works?
ReplyDeleteI would assume that it can be edited multiple times. I think we should start by organizing all of the things that we have already done then add additional pieces. Did you look at the sample websites? That helped give me an idea of what we're up against. I believe the project is not due until December 12th but I will review the concept map and hopefully we can get that done tomorrow perhaps. I'll see what all I can figure out and try to start setting things up. Don't worry it'll come together! And I've made a website before..not exactly like this but I think the hardest part is getting started
ReplyDeleteYeah.. I viewed the smaple at that kinda put me a little bit at ease because it didnt look as hard as i thought.. Thats good anyway.. yeah I think considering how much we have we just need to start uploading and getting it situated in order.. My internet at home is screwed up.. I had to order a new modem box from the phone company and am waiting.. sorry if im a little speratic the next couple of days.. I am lugging my laptop all over the place but it is old and junkie so doesnt work all that great.. Hope you were able to get onto the site with the ID and Password I left you.. ReplyDeleteO.K. so i worked on the site some.. Started the Home page (maybe should change name from home though).. my computer froze before i could finish it all.. Im not sure how to add in a link either.. It is not complete but its a start.. :) .. you can edit any of the pages. so feel free to change or add anything... talk to you soon..
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I've been working on this 8 page research paper and it's been killing me, but after this week this website is pretty much my only assignment. i'll definitely make it my goal for tomorrow to check it out and see what we can plan next. don't worry about the internet mine sucks too. talk to you soon
